Neighborhood Clean Up Day Saturday May 3rd!

I will leave clean up tools near the Little Free Library in Harvey Schmidt Park in front of the “big climbing rock” at 10 am. The City Parks department was kind enough to loan us gloves, garbage bags, pickers, and buckets.  The goal is to pick up unwanted refuse laying in our two parks and along our roadways.  Full garbage bags can be placed in either of the two receptacles along Carver St. in the two parking areas for Harvey Schmidt Park.  When finished, all clean up tools can be left right where they were found by the Little Free Library (and there may be doughnuts there to reward your hard work!) and I will return them to the Parks department Monday morning.  Come meet up with some of your neighbors, have a chat, and do a Kindness for the Earth and our little slice of it! Kids are of course welcome and encouraged!  Keep in mind it rained ALOT yesterday so rain proof boots might be a good idea!
