Please join us for a public informational meeting regarding neighborhood issues.

When: Thursday June 12, 2025 from 6pm – 8pm

Where: U.W. Madison Arboretum Visitor Center Auditorium, 2880 Longenecker Drive Madison, WI 53711

Agenda: (order of speakers to be determined)

-Michael Hansen, UW Arboretum land care manager: Q & A regarding current season natural land management in the Arboretum

-Paul Quinlan, City of Madison Parks: presentation of ongoing and upcoming ecological restoration plans for Harvey Schmidt Park.  This includes the planned use of herbicides and controlled burns.

-Mitchell Favor, MMPD South District Neighborhood Resource Officer: presentation about events planned by MMPD for the summer months and what the South District emphasizes in their community policing model, as well as engage in Q&A about resident safety concerns.

-Tag Evers, District 13 Alderperson: open Q & A with District 13 constituents about current local issues

-All questions for the speakers must be submitted ahead of time by end of day JUNE 1Oth to allow speakers adequate time to research and prepare answers. Open Q&A session with speakers, fellow residents, and ANA Board members will only occur as time allows.
