“If you don’t think that Madison history doesn’t feature a whole lot of mystique, let it be known: There’s a “Lost City” hidden in the University of Wisconsin-Madison Arboretum.  It isn’t an El Dorado or Atlantis, or anything like that. Madison’s Lost City is actually an abandoned urban development from the 1920s, the crumbling foundations of which are still visible along some of the Arboretum’s paths.
